The emBODYment of Jewish Feminity

This past January I had my first exhibition of a project five months in the making: The emBODYment of Jewish Feminity.  This was the first time I combined my work with women who have eating disorders and my photography.  I was invited to unveil the photo project at the triennial conference of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance.

Upcoming showcases of this exhibition will take place on May 21st at 7pm at the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale and at the Riverdale Y beginning this November.

The project has been written up in numerous media outlets, including The Jewish Daily Forward's Sisterhood Blog, the Lilith Magazine website, and two articles on the Eden Center Blog, about mikveh immersion, and body image.

My Photo made the cover of a magazine!

Last month's cover photo for Metro NY parent magazines is none other than my daughter Olivia! I was so excited to see the photo I took of her delicious face on the cover of a magazine that has issues in many of the 5 boroughs of NYC.
